What Hair Biz and Beyond collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

This policy explains what hairbizandbeyond.com collects when you visit or get in touch, why, and the choices you have. The site is run by DK Management Inc., Danielle Keasling’s company, which also runs daniellekeasling.com and anothermillionmiles.com. The same policy covers all three.
What we collect
When you browse. We use Google Analytics to see how people find and use the site: the pages you view, the website or search that brought you here, your approximate location, and your browser and type of device. It sets cookies so it can tell a returning visitor from a new one. It does not give us your name or contact details, and Google handles this data under its own privacy policy. You can block these cookies in your browser, or opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google’s opt-out add-on. We don’t use advertising cookies. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to run and protect the site. These are kept for a short time and are not used to identify you.
When you send a message. Our forms ask for your name, email address and message and, on some forms, your phone number. With your message we record the page you sent it from, the website that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source). To stop spam, we keep a scrambled one-way code made from your IP address, never the address itself.
When you request a consultation. What you tell us about your business and goals is kept with your message, so Danielle can prepare for your call.
How we use it
- To reply to you and provide what you asked for.
- To understand which pages and links bring people to us.
- To keep the site secure and stop spam.
We don’t sell or rent your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising.
Who handles it for us
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Google Analytics counts visits and shows which pages and searches bring people here.
- Supabase stores messages sent through the forms in a secure database.
- Resend sends Danielle an email when a new message arrives.
- Our email provider receives that email at danielle@daniellekeasling.com.
These companies process your information only to provide their service to us. Some of them are based in the United States and may store it there.
How long we keep it
We keep messages for as long as we need them to reply and follow up. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing danielle@daniellekeasling.com. We will reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, for example California, the European Union or the United Kingdom, local law may give you further rights, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Children
This site is not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us their details, email us and we will delete them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date.
