GET PUBLISHED is a {two phase} workshop, specializing in mentorship for licensed hair stylists that are ready to elevate their career and experience what it takes to work on set of a professional photoshoot. You will have the opportunity to create beautiful images in a collaborated setting and learn what it takes to get your work published. Get ready to discover your creative process and the possibilities of your incredible potential in this industry.
In GET PUBLISHED – PHASE ONE you will learn what you need to know before the photoshoot. Learn how to break into the world of working on set as a hairstylist and all the details that will build your confidence as you elevate your career. This class is facilitated by Danielle Keasling @danielle.keasling and a guest speaker. (No tools needed in this session)
What you’ll LEARN:
- How to build your team. (makeup artist, model, photographer, stylists)
- How to establish your concept.
- How to create a moodboard.
- Etiquette on set and how to execute the day.
- Networking skills with publications, editors and agencies.
- How to write a press kit.
- What to bring to the shoot.
** Because of limited space in the second phase of this workshop, if you wish to take both classes but the second phase is sold out, an additional date will be announced that will allow you to continue your mentorship experience. **
