The “4D Foilayage” technique is a new development of the balayage coloring technique that is similar to highlights . However, balayage itself is a more subtle coloring technique compared to the usual highlight technique , giving a smooth appearance to the hair.

Well, when compared between foilayage and balayage , this latest foilayage technique is said to be more time efficient. It only takes 3-4 hours, and you can have a new, more dimensional hair look, like 4D.

Anthony also said that in this technique, there are 4 steps that are done when the hairdresser wants to apply it. Here are the steps in the “4D Foilayage” coloring technique:

1. The first step , the hairdresser needs to focus on the section to get optimal foilayage .
2. The second step , the hairdresser can use weaving , slicing , or teasing techniques.
3. The third step , the hairdresser applies the coloring according to the client’s wishes.
4. The fourth step , the hairdresser uses the product so that the bonder can be applied and the client does not need to worry about damaging their hair.

3. Follow hair trends that have smoother results
